| Position: | Golf Course Mechanic III |

| Duties: | · Participate in the planning and supervision of routine maintenance activities including P1 (priority) tasks (mowing greens, changing cups, course set up, and raking bunkers) and P2 tasks (mowing fairways, tees, and rough). · Participate in the daily assignment of equipment to employees and inspect for proper use, cleaning, and storage to assigned parking. · Stage designated equipment and tools to prepare for the following day. · Coordinate with mechanics to ensure preventative maintenance, repairs, and readiness of equipment fleet. · Participate in the daily monitoring of putting greens (moisture, firmness, green speed, and clipping yield) using measuring devices and record data. · Observe and evaluate playing conditions (moisture, mowing quality, bunker raking, course set up) to take corrective action or report to Superintendent. · Maintain effective employee and public relations. · Monitor employee uniforms (shirts, boots, helmets, and personal protective equipment) to provide service to the employees and ensure compliance with the uniform policy. · Assist the Superintendent in keeping records of maintenance activities, including but not limited to job tracking, and chemical and fertilizer applications as required by law. · Assist in the operation of the irrigation system by using Rainbird Control System and pump station operation, field observations, and scouting for proper moisture, sprinkler adjustments, and repairs. · Follow and comply with company and departmental safety policies to ensure a safe work environment. · Perform other duties as assigned. |

| Requirements: | The ideal candidate will be a team player who strives for excellence with a great attitude and strong work ethic! At least 5 years of well-rounded experience as head golf course mechanic, assistant golf course mechanic, and/or related mechanical experience and skilled in the use of a wide variety of equipment repair tools, and the making of various types of mechanical repairs are required. Golf course resort and experience with grinding golf course machinery maintenance required. |
| Responsible to: | In this role, you will be responsible for the shop condition, and safe mechanical condition of all mowers, utility vehicles, and mechanical equipment. Work closely with the Equipment Manager / Golf Course Superintendent to plan and coordinate repairs, adjustments, and maintenance of all equipment to ensure it’s available for daily use on the golf course. |
