Position:

Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent works directly with the Golf Course Superintendent to provide superior golf course conditions while providing a safe and friendly working environment for our employees

 

Facility:

Western Skies Golf Club

Duties:

·       Schedule daily crew activities

·       Conduct weekly safety meetings

·       Apply fertilizers and chemicals

·       Operate and maintain the irrigation system

·       Assist in equipment maintenance

·       Assists in ordering supplies and materials within the budgetary limitations.

·       Helps in keeping records of annual maintenance activities including but not limited to chemical and fertilizer applications as required by law.

·       Must always demonstrate a positive attitude

·       Must provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers

 

Salary:

$45,000

Requirements:

·       High School Diploma or equivalent, and must possess training in desert plant material and propagation from a recognized college or university, or equivalent preferred

·       3 years-experience in landscape maintenance.
