| Duties: | · The Superintendent has knowledge in all turf grass/plant material maintenance programs, property/asset management, personnel management, irrigation systems, chemical applications, and related record-keeping. · Reporting to the Director of Agronomy, this individual must be open to innovation and new approaches to golf course maintenance. · Evaluates turf management and determines appropriate methods of resolving issues, assists in reviewing and evaluating current procedures, and assists in developing short- and long-range goals to ensure efficient maintenance and operation of the Golf Courses. Responsibilities: Essential Functions: These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: · Plans and supervises the golf course maintenance operations. · Evaluates turf management and determines appropriate methods of resolving issues. · Assists in reviewing and evaluating current procedures and makes recommendations to increase efficiency. · Assists in managing, coordinating, and planning grounds maintenance work by preparing regular schedules for irrigation, mowing, fertilization, pesticide application, and other turf and ornamental cultural practices. · Identifies turf grass disease, weed types, insect types, and determines the appropriate chemical application strategy for resolving this issue. · Determines the proper calibration and application rates of fungicides and pesticides through understanding of fertilizer and chemical formulas. · Assists in developing short and long-range goals to ensure the efficient maintenance and operation of the Golf Courses. · Assist with accurate and complete records of inventory, weather data, soil moisture readings, maintenance procedures, pesticide and fertilizer applications, etc. · Communicates regularly with Director of Agronomy regarding course condition and possible improvements. |
| Salary: | $70,000 - $80,000 Depending On Experience |

| Requirements: | · Minimum Two (2) – Three (3) years in similar role including direct supervisory experience of team. · Advanced understanding of irrigation programming and application. · Arizona Pesticide Application License or obtain within 90 days |
