| Duties: | The golf course superintendent is entrusted with the management, the protection and the development of QVGA golf course. The responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, turf grass/plant material maintenance programs, property management and monitoring, personnel management, budget/forecasting, financial management, scheduling/maintenance or irrigation systems, pesticide applications, related recordings, and compliance of regulatory issues. The Golf Course Superintendent works for the constant improvement of QVGA Golf Course appearance and to create an environment where staff is engaged and enthusiastic, with open communications and respect for themselves, Queen Valley Golf members, and guests. |
| Salary: | $75,000, Commensurate with experience. |

| Comments: | A slice of heaven in the desert, Queen Valley is located 2 miles east of Florence Junction off highway 60. Our 18 hole course of 4,500 yards is nestled on 65 acres in the foothills of the Superstition Mountains. Successful applicant will supervise a staff of 5 full time employees in the maintenance and beautification of the course. Superintendent works on a management team with the ProShop Manager and Office Manager in the care and maintenance of the course. Our member owned course is open to public play and remains green year round with our own water source and rights. |
