Duties:
·        Troubleshoot, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment and equipment systems. This includes, but is not limited to, operator and equipment safety switch operation, engine tune-ups, carburetor adjustments, tire repair. Ensure safe and proper operation of hydraulic, brake, fuel, steering, electrical, and cooling systems.              
·        Repair engine/drive train assemblies, starters, cutting units, roller bearing and seals, carburetors, fuel pumps, hydraulic motors and hoses. Install batteries, tires, lights, and glass.
·        Adjust, sharpen, and backlap reel mowers to ensure proper reel to bed knife adjustment and proper height-of-cut on all cutting units.                            
·        Perform occasional welding, machining, bodywork and painting.                              
·        Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a team player who strives for excellence with a great attitude and strong work ethic. At least 3 years of well-rounded experience as head golf course mechanic, assistant golf course mechanic and/or related mechanical experience and skilled in the use of a wide variety of equipment repair tools, and the making of various types of mechanical repairs is required. Must have a valid Drivers License.
