Position:	Golf Course Assistant Superintendent
Facility:	Paradigm Golf Group (Multiple Locations in Phoenix, Mesa)
Duties:	The Golf Course Assistant Superintendent, under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent, is entrusted with assisting in leading the golf course maintenance operation and management of the golf course and grounds. This position will support leading all agronomic programs and practices to ensure consistent conditions align with standards for the facility. Additionally, this position may assume additional supervisory responsibilities and serve in the capacity as the Superintendent during such an absence. This position will act as a representative of the company while promoting the values of the organization. Work closely with the Superintendent to manage all aspects of golf maintenance department including routine maintenance, staff, project management, and problem resolution Help plan, assign, and coordinate all work activities of department staff Evaluates and helps improve cultural and maintenance programs required to maintain all golf course areas Maintains records and makes recommendations concerning materials, manpower, and equipment used Maintains and enforces safety regulations and procedures Ensure all programs and procedures meet standards of maintenance and that continued improvement is the primary goal and objective of the maintenance team Provides input on golf maintenance budget including expenditures, planning, monitoring, and justification Responsible for the hiring, training, evaluating, and makes recommendations on the disciplining of assigned employees; Supervises assigned employees  Monitors turf grass irrigation requirements and schedules requiring irrigation operations  Supports compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, and golf course environmental programs
Salary:	Depends on Experience, Hiring Range $55,000 - $65,000

Requirements:	Driver’s License with clean driving history High School Graduate or GED Minimum of 3 years’ experience in golf course, landscape, or a directly related field Knowledge of agronomy, turfgrass management and the game of golf An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered
