Snack Shop Manager Job Summary: Provides supervisory oversight of the assigned Snack Shop, including reviewing Snack Shop operations and monthly financial performance. Facilitates and coordinates the necessary scheduling and allocation of staffing resources, to assure the effective provision of services. Duties and Responsibilities: · Assure quality service is provided to all Snack Shop customers. · Interview, hire, train and manage assigned staff. · Oversee and evaluate the performance of assigned staff. · Performs responsibilities of a Counter Attendant/Cook including preparing and serving food and beverages. · Conduct daily inspections of the assigned premises for cleanliness, maintenance, repair, safety and compliance with established Department of Health requirements. · Submit and follow-up on work order requests and related documentation to assure compliance with Department of Health and Corporate requirements. · Conduct daily, weekly and monthly food, beverage and supply inventories and complete related paperwork. · Prepare weekly employee work schedule and post. · Review employee time cards for weekly accuracy. · Assure staff reports absences on the Absence Request form and submit to Human Resources. · Verify each assigned employee has a valid food handler’s card and maintain an on-site copy. · Assure daily cash receipts, register closeouts, deposits and cashier closeout sheets are completed correctly and forwarded to Accounting/Finance. · Perform product purchasing for all food, beverage, paper, janitorial and operational supplies. · Check in all orders received, follow-up on any discrepancies · Monitor food production timeliness, quality and costs. · Communicate any needs for replacement of furniture, fixtures and equipment to the Director of Golf · Coordinate menu changes. · Attend safety training meetings; communicate to and train assigned staff · in areas of safety compliance. · Address and resolve employee conflicts or problems, including preparation of timely documentation and disciplinary action, as required. · Immediately report accidents/ incidents to RCSC Corporate Office, follow up with required paperwork. · Facilitate and promote a strong customer service orientation among assigned staff. · Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications · Three years of Food Service experience, with one year of supervisory experience OR
· Possession of a Maricopa County Food Handler Managers Card · Possession of a valid state of Arizona driver’s license. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities · Knowledge and understanding of Food Service operations. · Knowledge and understanding of Food Service POS (point of sale) system implementation and use · Knowledge of occupational hazards and the necessary safety precautions for the work area and work performed · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Excellent customer service skills Work Conditions · Ability to lift up to thirty five (35) pounds safely using proper lifting techniques · Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy and demanding environment · Ability to move about freely including; walking, standing (for extended periods of time) bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, carrying · Ability to speak, see, hear · Ability to ascend/descend ladders POSITION REQUIREMENTS: · Three years of Food Service experience, with one year of supervisory experience OR · An equivalent combination of experience, education, and/ or training, which demonstrates the ability to effectively perform the duties of the position · Possession of a Maricopa County Food Handler Managers Card · Knowledge and understanding of Food Service operations. · Knowledge and understanding of Food Service POS (point of sale) system implementation and use · Knowledge of occupational hazards and the necessary safety precautions for the work area and work performed · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Excellent customer service skills APPLICATIONS: Applications and further information may be obtained from the Human Resources Department or online at www.suncityaz.org.
