Duties:

 

  • Daily management of all aspects to ensure smooth running course
  • Oversee all irrigation needs including application of fertilizer/plant protectants
  • Willing to cover golf course superintendent's responsibilities while absent
  • Staff scheduling of the Agronomy team
  • Excellent problem solving skills 
  • Excellent customer service/relationship building with members

Salary:

 

$62,500 - $67,500 Annually Based on Experience.

Requirements:

 

  • Two (2) or Four (4) year Degree in Agronomy (or similar field)
  • Must be able to obtain the AZ Applicator's License within 90 days (company will cover costs)
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic

The beautiful Seven Canyons Golf Club in Sedona, AZ is seeking a full-time Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to assist with daily planning and successful implementation of all aspects related to the golf course. The property is located just a few miles Northwest of Sedona, Arizona in a rare and beautiful golf setting. We feel this is a position that will provide an excellent opportunity to build a resume by experiencing re-design, renovation and the re-building of a new team and culture under solid private member ownership.
