| Duties: | The purpose of this position is to supervise and provide direction to maintenance technicians servicing building components and equipment at several Parks and Recreation Facilities, to include the Peoria Sports Complex and Community Pools, while also providing direct support for the Department’s Facilities Services division. This is accomplished by scheduling and assigning tasks; facilitating training activities; providing technical assistance; developing goals and objectives; establishing policies and procedures. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and operating heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, fire systems, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and graffiti mitigation, among others. These functions are supported by maintaining and analyzing energy management systems (EMS) and its operating software. This position will compile and analyze utilities’ data to promote efficiencies and cost saving strategies. This position will also administer budgets and oversight of vendor contracts within areas of responsibility and participate on committees, panels, and workgroups. Other duties may include completing related tasks as assigned and supporting community events. |
| Salary: | $71,182 – $105,351 Hiring Range: $71,182 - $79,724 |

| Requirements: | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: · Education: Associates Degree or Equivalent; · Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of related experience; · Licenses/Certifications/Special Requirements: Valid AZ Driver's License upon hire. PREFERRED/DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: · In addition to being a results-oriented people person, the ideal candidate will: · Have experience overseeing several full-time staff. · Have experience with utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System. · Have a working understanding of common facility maintenance techniques, methods, practices, procedures, use of forms, routines, etc., of an intermediate nature. Experience working in a municipal or government setting. |
