    Position Overview:
    The Pro Shop Manager oversees all daily operations of the Queen Valley Golf Course Pro Shop and the Oasis Pool area. This includes customer service, sales, inventory management, tee time coordination, and working closely with course management to ensure   an excellent experience for all guests. This position reports to the Association Board's President or designated representative.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Pro Shop Activities:
  - Coordinate scheduling tee times, tournaments and group play approved by the Board of Directors
- Develop and maintain good public relations
- Responsible for the course advertising program
- Setting course fees for outside play
- Properly safeguard all revenue and place it in the care of the Office Manager on a routine basis.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Golf Course Superintendent and Office Manager.
  Pro Shop Operation:
  - Develop a procedure to open and close the ProShop and provide a person(s) to open the ProShop, answer the telephone, present golf carts for daily use and return same to storage at day's end and close ProShop.
- Investigate, report and help solve operational problems and complaints communicated by members, employees and the playing public.
- Allow only qualified personnel to operate golf carts; obtain drivers license numbers from outside customers not known to staff prior to rental usage
  Purchasing:
  -   Purchase materials, merchandise, equipment and supplies required to maintain an effective ProShop operation 
 
  Maintenance:
  - Responsible for ProShop equipment, golf carts and property
- Provide clean carts in good working order for golfers' use and advising Superintendent of needed repairs
  Administration:
  - Prepares, administers and adheres to the ProShop Budget
- Responsible for all revenues generated by the ProShop
- Compile data to include revenue and expenditure projections and furnish such reports as requested by the QVGA Board of Directors
- Present all bills for payment in a timely manner to the Office Manager. Any non-budgeted items over $500 value must be approved by the QVGA Board
- Prepare and file the annual 'Number of Golf Rounds' report with Pinal County and provide the Board with an historical recap of same
  Personnel:
  - Hires, trains and supervises Pro Shop employees, golf course Marshalls and Oasis Pool personnel
- Prepare and communicate appropriate work schedules for employees
- Complete annual performance evaluations/reviews with employees, more often as necessary
- Prepare and file signed evaluations in employee files
- Prepare steps for any disciplinary action and review with Board designee
- Document any disciplinary actions and plans for improvement with employees and maintain personnel files

  - Salary commensurate with experience.
