Position: Assistant Mechanic
|

Facility: Westin Kierland Golf Club
|
|
Duties:
• Assist Head Mechanic in the checking of all mowers daily including height/quality of cut
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks in line with current PM program including reporting and record keeping
• Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
• Valid Driver's License required
• Self starter with strong communication skills
• General knowledge of electrical troubleshooting preferred
• General mechanical knowledge preferred
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required

Requirements:
• Golf Course experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred
•Welding work and fabrication experience in making fittings used in repair of maintenance equipment.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls. Occasionally sits, climbs or balances. Regularly talks or hears. Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally may lift up to 100 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions; with toxic or caustic materials; in extreme cold or heat; may experience vibration. Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions and may face the risk of electrical shock or encounter fumes or airborne pathogens. Frequently works in areas near moving mechanical parts. Noise level can be loud.
